It all depends on the project, but usually 3-5 days.

Absolutely, we will always do our best to accommodate your needs and can often do same day orders when required.

I am not located in Barrie, do you offer shipping or offsite services?

All work comes with a 1 year warranty.

vehicle wraps/lettering

What is the difference between a vehicle wrap and vehicle lettering?

The major difference is the material used and the surface area covered. Vehicle wraps are done with digitally printed vinyl, which is covered with a UV clear protectant, they usually also cover a lot more of the vehicle, hence the term wrap. Vehicle lettering is done using 2mm cut vinyl that we offer in a wide variety of colours. Keep in mind, sometimes less is more!

What is the lifespan of vehicle wrap and vehicle lettering?

The lifespan of a vehicle wrap is anywhere from 1-5 years, depending largely on the owner’s care. The most damaging elements to vehicle wraps are long term sun exposure and water under pressure (ie. car washes).

The manufacturer puts a lifespan of 8 years before colour fades on cut vinyl. However, elements such as long sun exposure and car washes may deteriorate the vinyl much sooner.

I would like lettering on my windows but am worried about visibility?

Our perforated material is the ideal alternative to cut vinyl for windows. It is a direct to print material that allows for greater visibility.

Does my vehicle need to be clean before applying a wrap or lettering?

Yes! Please run your vehicle through the car wash prior to installation. This will also avoid delays and extra charges.

signs

What materials do you use?

We offer a wide variety of materials ranging from coro-last, PVC, foam core, styrene, and metal. We use either cut vinyl or digitally printed vinyl to surface our signs in most cases.

What is the lifespan of most signs?

It depends on the location, indoor signs have a much longer lifespan, outdoor signs can last 1-5 years, outdoor signs with a southern exposure tend to have a shorter lifespan.

I have a damaged sign, can you repair it?

It depends on the extent of the damage, it may be cheaper to create a new one and offer you a fresh new look.

files/design

What type of files do you accept?

We accept ai, eps and pdf files. We request that PDF files are single pages, press quality, CMYK, and that you convert fonts to outlines before sending your file, as we may not have the font you’ve used. If a file is received that is not ready for print, extra fees may apply.

I need a sign or banner but have no idea what to put on it, can you help?

If you do not provide a file with artwork already completed, we are happy to sit down with you and come up with some ideas, then we will work together and design your finished product. There will be an additional fee for design time.

Where should I send my files and any design questions to?

Please email all files and any design questions to design@signsofinnovation.ca
